Sakura Field | Seed: -5584399987456711267

Minecraft’s 1.20 update only introduced the Cherry Grove as its sole new biome, but these cherry blossoms are some of the most beautiful environmental additions in the entire game. This seed gives you a great view of Minecraft’s Cherry Groves, planting you right on the edge of a cherry blossom forest that makes for the perfect idyllic backdrop for all of your crafting experiments. Why not take inspiration from your surroundings and try your hand at building a Japanese-style house?

Spawn Trail Ruins seed

Spawn Trail Ruins Seed: -78281593317120339
Coordinates: -152, 72

Trail Ruins are all that is left of ancient Minecraft civilizations and villages from a time long since forgotten. Added in the 1.20 Trails and Tales update, these oft-buried structures are home to plenty of valuable loot and even Minecraft archaeology, given you the chance to scrape away at suspicious blocks to reveal the secrets hidden within. Perhaps the most fun part is just excavating the area itself though, and finding out just how large the village was – perhaps you could even take on the task of reforming it?

This Trail Ruin seed is perfect for any budding archaeologists, as the ruins seen above are just a few blocks from spawn, and the top-most bright terracotta blocks can be seen with no digging required. What’s even better, though, is the nearby village at x = -272, z = 272, giving you somewhere to call home while you work, and to safely store all the artifacts you uncover. There’s even a Mineshaft underground here too, if you’re brave enough to face the dangers in exchange for even more valuable loot.

Archipelago

Best Minecraft seeds 3
Best Minecraft seeds 3

Seed: 124014738

One of the simpler ones this and a good place to start. The small cluster of islands is a great place to build especially if you are starting out and want to learn the basics of how to do it.

So definitely not a challenging one, but sometimes a challenge is not what you are looking for and this is a perfect fit if that sounds like you.

Underwater Temple

Seed: -1013382714437321718

Tired of your regular old landlocked temples and want one that has plunged under the depth of the ocean? Well, you will probably want to head to the Underwater Temple then as it does very much what it says on the tin! Be warned though as the enemies here can provide quite the challenge.

Mangrove Swamp and Outpost

Seed: -3546842701776989958

This is a good place to head if you want to build up your collection of Minecraft frogs as they are there in abundance. You will also find a desert pyramid, a village and a shipwreck too! So there’s plenty to see and do if you decide to take a trip to Mangrove Swamp and Outpost.

Vertical Island and Floating Village

Best Minecraft seeds 4
Best Minecraft seeds 4

Whether it’s a YouTube series or a solo adventure, survival islands are one of the most popular elements of Minecraft spawns. But none of the islands out there come close to the bizarreness of this seed’s spawn point. You land on a large chunk of land with a floating savanna village on one side and a large ocean on the other. Some part of the village structure has also made it to the top of the tall island which is mostly savanna.

Moreover, as if adding to its beauty, there are also waterfalls, caves, and uniquely cut terrain around here. The scene looks like something out of a fantasy book. Not to forget, since there aren’t many other nearby islands, you have to heavily rely on the villagers to get all of your resources. So, before anything else, make sure to create a villager trading hall in your island kingdom.

  • Spawn Biome: Stony Peaks

Trial Chamber seed

Trial Chamber seed: 393235010621814182
Coordinates: x = 54, y = -15, z = 185

First off, this seed only generates Trial Chambers if you use it in a 1.21 snapshot and turn experimental features on. If you need help with this, take a look at our guide to playing on Minecraft snapshots.

Now you can load a new world with this seed in your 1.21 installation and check out this great spawn location, with a nearby village and trial chamber. There’s almost no better way in Minecraft 1.21 to loot valuable materials early on, but what’s better is you can access this underground chamber with next to no tools.

Head to the village at x = 176, z = 64 to stock up on wood and other materials safely before heading to the massive cave entrance to the southwest. Use the waterfalls here to safely descend into the cave, and you can see a brick wall at the bottom – this is the Trial Chamber. Use a pickaxe to break through the wall and take on the new challenge.

Of course, since you are entering a cave (and dangerous trial chamber) we would recommend taking some tools and weapons with you, but there’s so much loot to be had inside the Trial Chamber walls that you won’t need much. Just be on the lookout for mob spawners, including the new Minecraft Breeze.

Pretty Minecraft seed for 1.20

Best Minecraft seeds 5

Pretty icy 1.20 seed: 7050622155736149866
Coordinates: x = 93, z = 2,655

This seed was originally found by Redditor Hanazeri in 1.19, and the magnificent icy landscape in the image above still stands in the 1.20 update. What makes this even better after Tales and Trails though is the addition of a Cherry Grove biome right next to one of the icy mountains. The vantage point above can be found at coordinates x=93, z=2,655, while the snowy mountain and cherry blossom combo can be found a *cough* short *cough* walk along the x-axis to x=-694, z=2,846.

There’s no prettier color combo than pink and white, right? So grab a few saplings and pink petals from the Cherry Grove, head back to the gorgeous building plot above, and turn that circular meadow into a snowy pink wonderland.

Frozen Edge Of The World

Seed: -1754216045272489466

This seed starts you in front of a remote swath of frozen ocean with a variety of frosty structures rising from the deep waters before you. You’ll really feel like an explorer standing on the edge of the world, and if you’ve ever read At the Mountains of Madness, H.P. Lovecraft’s science-fiction romp about a group of travellers in the Arctic who stumble upon ancient horrors, you might also feel unnerved by the imposing geometrical shapes of the ice before you. There’s even a submerged ocean monument not too far from your spawning location, if you dare to brave the deep, frozen waters. Who knows, maybe that’s where Cthulhu lies sleeping!

Key locations:

Buried Treasure (-631, 313)Mineshaft (-488, 408)
Shipwreck (312, 88)Ocean Monument (-344, 232)

Obsidian Farm

Best Minecraft seeds 7

Seed: -8880302588844065321

Minecraft players will know full well how valuable Obsidian is so the name of this seed alone should be enough to take notice. This waterlogged village features a pool of lava in it and that can be used to farm that sweet Obsidian!

Mesa and Cave Spiders

Seed: -8427444967367737379

Do you hate spiders to the point that even the thought of them is enough for you to feel itchy and like you are in serious need of a shower? Best to skip past this one if that is the case.

To win the Mesa biome, you will need to enter the cave and clear it out of critters – it all just depends on how brave you are feeling as to whether you will give that a try.

Mooshroom Paradise

Seed: -8427444967367737379

Mooshroom families await a visit at this tropical location! Word of warning, though: while it may look like a place to relax, there are also dangers lurking and one wrong step could see you plummet into a ravine, so be on your guard at all times to avoid a nasty accident!

Floating Ship in Minecraft

Best Minecraft seeds 8
Best Minecraft seeds 8

Shipwrecks are common structures of Minecraft’s oceans and the leading source of pirate-based lore in the game. The ships almost always generate underwater, floating, or right next to the water. And in nearly every case, these shipwrecks have broken pieces in their structure, staying true to their name.

However, the shipwreck in this seed generates a complete ship floating in the air. Finding another structure like this one is almost impossible, and the best part about it is that it’s close to your spawn point. You can get amazing loot and even all the wood you need from this “not wrecked” shipwreck.

Desert Temple seed

Best Minecraft seeds 9

Double desert temple seed: 6379870233718797262
Coordinates: x = -387, z = 150

This seed is the perfect location for a dig site with Minecraft archeology. There are not one, not two, but three desert temples all fairly close to spawn, with one about a minute’s walk southeast from spawn, and another the same distance southwest. If you’re worried about spawning in a desert with no wood, there’s an entire jungle of the stuff right behind the eastern temple. Meanwhile, the western temple, as you can see in the image above, has a village behind it, so you’ll be able to tame a camel or two, as well.

Savanna Plateau River

Best Minecraft seeds 10
Best Minecraft seeds 10

Seed: 5101553622029575588

This seed places you on a high savanna plateau overlooking a canyon river, with another striking plateau on the other side. The river acts as a hotbed of activity here, with multiple ravines leading down into dark dungeons for explorers who want to battle skeletons and zombies, and a peaceful savanna village located on a cliffside by the lake that the river spills into. It’s an inspiring array of scenery to begin your Minecraft explorations, especially if you’re bold, enjoy traversing difficult terrain, and are immediately interested in delving into the depths below the surface.

Ocean Monument Island

Best Minecraft seeds 11

Seed: -3821186818805133221

There are a couple of rare things to find on this ocean-based seed – and one is actually extremely rare which is more than enough reason to head here and check it out.

There is an ultra-rare Mooshroom Biome that is located not far from the starting point and your will also be able to spot an Ocean Monument below the water when you first spawn. So it is just a case of working out which one you want to go to first!

Nether Rush

Seed: -1654510255

You will spawn between the desert and a plain and you will notice that there are two different villages that you can choose to head to.

There is a lot in this world from lava to trees and all sorts of dangers that are lurking to take you by surprise – and it is a great fun seed too!

Pillager Outpost

Seed: 2327370183894455166

If a mad frantic chase sounds like your cup of tea then this is without question one of the seeds that you’re going to want to check out at the earliest opportunity.

It is one of the most dangerous ones that you can find, which makes it super fun, and you will have to outrun the pillagers from the moment you spawn. But can you set up a base to try and fight back?

Desert village and camels seed: 2689156606574652174
Coordinates: x = -783, z = 230

Not only does this seed spawn you near a ruined portal and in a gorgeous badlands biome, but you’ll also find a desert village just a short hop from spawn. This village is home to a cute Minecraft camel, perfect for traveling across the vast desert and badlands landscape surrounding you.

Giant Mangrove Swamp

Best Minecraft seeds 13

Seed: 4025804172371830787

Swamps have been among the least interesting biomes you can come across in a Minecraft world for many years. But with the release of the Wild Update, they finally got some love with the Mangrove Swamp sub-biome. With this seed you’ll start on the coast of a colossal, sprawling Mangrove Swamp filled with trees, lilypads, water, and doubtless plenty of adorable little frogs, too.
